Measuring Guide:
Collect both measurements while seated with the leg at a 90 degree angle using a cloth measuring tape. Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear while measuring. Have an additional person take the measurements for best accuracy.
For Calf Height - Measure from where the heel rests on the ground to the bend of the knee. Add approximately 1/2-3/4" in height to allow for drop.
For Calf Width - Measure the circumference of the widest part of the calf.

Comments: These boots are gorgeous, but they are too tall for me. I am 5'5" and I can't even bend my leg 90 degrees before the backs of the boots start digging painfully into the back of my knees. The boots are also extremely stiff, I'm sure they'll soften as you break them in, but it was difficult to walk. I will be returning these.

Comments: The Saxon Syntovia dress boot is outstanding in quality and durability. This synthetic boot is an innovation in that it's not only practical but it looks just like a leather boot without the maintenance. Just spray off dust or mud.....no polish, no conditioner, no changing boots to wash your horse. I've been waiting for a synthetic boot that imitates stylish leather boots and for $75 they're unbeatable. The only thing I would change is to replace the light-duty zipper with a YKK (like the ones used for backpacks) and I'd place it on the inside of the boot. The wrinkle that develops over the heal is death to zippers but for the price, I can get a new pair every year. Love these boots. Save money and time without sacrificing style.
