Caring for Your EGO7 Boots:
Many environmental factors might have a negative impact on leather, this is why regular and proper care is so important. Your riding boots should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Horse sweat, mud etc. are very aggressive for leather and should be removed at all times.
The leather should be moisturized with a leather cleaner and conditioner to maintain elasticity and wear resistance. Leather boots need to dry after being worn and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place always away from direct heat or sunlight to avoid cracks and stiffness.
Use the practical inflatable boot trees supplied to keep them in perfect shape.
EGO7 Zipper Care:
Please Note: Zippers have a 6-month manufacturer warranty.
Zipper lifespans can be compared to your car tire. The lifespan mainly depends on how you “treat” them, just like your car tire conditions depend on the type of driving you are doing, the road conditions, and how much you drive, for this we have some extra advice for you:
Use your fingers to help the zip-close when you wear them for the first few times without forcing or pulling too much to avoid excessive strain.
Always make sure the riding boots zipper is fully open when you put on/off your boots.
Zipper cleaning is an important point, if there is dirt like grease or sweat this could prevent the normal zip closing/opening and it might eventually split or suddenly brake.
Make sure your clothes or anything else does not get stuck in the zipper mechanism.
Love Love LoveI am completely and utterly obsessed with these. The stretch panel is so big, stretchy, and wonderful. I adore how they contour and fit. I sized up because I was worried, but even though they were a tiny bit big, I still love them. I am so excited to ride in these; they're already comfortable!

Delamination within 4 monthsExceedingly disappointed that the calves of both boots began to delaminate within 4 months of purchase, riding 4 times a week on only 1 horse with good care. If I could figure out how to add pictures, I would. I found little bubbles where the boot contacts the leather of my saddle. They fit as ordered and were beautiful, snug, semi-rigid, and broke in well otherwise. However, the "leather" on the outside, at least in the calf area, must be PU (bonded) leather. Thank goodness Riding Warehouse has a 365 day return policy.

Very PleasedThank you, Riding Warehouse, for stocking ALL the available sizes for these awesome boots! I have a hard time fitting foot/leg, and these are true to size. The leather is thin but firmer than less expensive boots. They are leather-lined, which is a big plus. We'll see about longevity, but they broke in well. After about a month of use several times a week, they appear to be perfect for what I want. Minimal fall in these boots; don't buy a taller size thinking they'll slouch. There's enough stiffness that my ankle is supported but not rigid. They're tight out of the box, but I found wearing them around the house with an oiled sock on (instep and ankle only) helped with the break-in. Good padding over the heel where the back zipper of other boots might cause blisters. There's never a rub. The elastic panel enables me to wear thicker socks or tights under my breeches in cold weather. Comfy footbed, although not foam (hoping it won't get torn up like some others). Gosh, I hope they last because I sure like them.

Great boot but runs smallLove these boots. As others have mentioned, the leather breaks in easily and it's a timeless design. However, they definitely run small so measure 2-3x and still size up. I measured and ended in a wide calf, but if I truly had wide calves there is no way these would fit.

Beautiful and Comfortable But Watch SizingThese boots are not only gorgeous and well-made, but comfortable once broken in. Like any properly fitting tall boot, they are impossible to zip up out of the box. But they're perfect once broken in.
The only caution I would add is to really pay attention to your sizing. They are EXACT, which is what makes them so beautiful. But if you are someone whose weight/muscle fluctuates in their calves, consider sizing up one. I had a pair of these at a lower weight then couldn't fit in them after putting on more muscle, whereas my other boots still fit fine.

Comments: Haven't ridden in these yet, but HOLY MOLY! They are so comfortable just walking around. No weird pressure points or shifting. I can walk normally without risking a blister. The sizing is SPOT ON - and I highly recommend you follow the size guide and actually measure yourself! I was a size smaller based on my measurements than I would have ordered from others brands, and the fit is as close to custom as I could have hoped for. I look forward to feeling these classy boots in the tack! From: Anonymous - North Carolina 7/29/22
Comments: First off: If they seem impossible to get on, don't give up. I have ridden in my boots 4 times now and while it is still difficult to get past the zipper guard, they look and feel really good otherwise. My Ariat boots are size 9 and I got a 39 in the Ego7. For the calf, I got the L+1 and the calf definitely fits a bit on the slimmer side. I also still struggle with the instep of the boot and getting it on and off. Though with each wear it is getting a bit easier. The ankle on these is already slim and the zipper guard prevents my Achilles tendon from getting torn up, but it makes the boots incredibly difficult to zip past that point. The zipper pulls are also pretty small and a bit difficult to get a hold of (I highly suggest zipping these up while wearing gloves during the break-in period....my fingers have been sore even with wearing gloves). I had to have help zipping them the first several times I wore the boots around the house and the first time I wore them to ride in. I probably could have gone with the L+2 for height, but I think these will be just fine for the amount I'll be wearing them (Lessons and the occasional local show). From: Rhiannon - Kansas 7/26/22
Comments: Beautiful and high-quality boot. The zipper padding is a genius and fantastic design. Take about two weeks to break in, I rode with the tops unzipped a little bit until they broke in. Drop and calf stretch isn't highly visible, I would go up a calf size if I were personally ordering a new pair. What I have is still extremely comfortable, only a little tight with my thicker breeches. I would purchase a second pair and I can't say that about a lot of tall boots. From: Madison B. - USA
