About the Brand:
Zilco began in 1962 as a small factory in Sydney (Australia), making lightweight racing products from revolutionary synthetic materials. Zilco's famous synthetic strapping is made from specially woven webbing that is coated in a co-polymer. This strong strapping retains its flexibility over a large temperature range and has great resistance to abrasion, tearing and cracking. The strapping will not wick moisture like other synthetic materials so the coating won’t split or open. This provides wonderful ease of maintenance you will appreciate.
Sizing
Adjustable from 22-35" from snap end to tail dock piece. This crupper will nicely fit smaller short-backed horses and very large horses alike!

Comments: Really love this crupper! My BLM mustang mare with no withers would buck with any other crupper. I tried several leather ones before buying this one. She now seems very comfortable and goes down hill easily. She is very short backed so I did switch out the attachment to leather "Y" straps. It was very easy to do. I am now going to buy one for my draft X mare.

Comments: Fantastic crupper! Only gripe is the hardware (was) brass but Zilco has just updated to Stainless! No rubbing so far with this on a horse new to cruppers.

Comments: I learned about Zilco products from a seasoned competitive trail rider. The Peruvian Horse, my chosen breed, traditionally wears a crupper, so adaptation was no problem. I love this crupper! It is easy to adjust, leaves no sore spots, and as all the Zilco products, is a breeze to clean. I also use the Zilco breast collar, and more Zilco is definitely in our future!

Comments: This is great crupper. It doesn't rub or irritate my mare (who can be finicky), and is super easy to clean. The only downfall is that its a little big for small horses with a short croup so a little altering was required.
