Care Instructions: Zilco is incredibly easy to maintain, you can Simply clean in a bucket of soapy water, rinse, and hang to dry.
Technologies:
Zilco began in 1962 as a small factory in Sydney (Australia), making lightweight racing products from revolutionary synthetic materials. Zilco's famous synthetic strapping is made from specially woven webbing that is coated in a co-polymer. This strong strapping retains its flexibility over a large temperature range and has great resistance to abrasion, tear and cracking. The strapping will not wick moisture like other synthetic materials so the coating won’t split or open. Wonderful ease of maintenance you will appreciate.

Sizing:
Zilco's "Standard/Arab" size measures smaller than an average horse size and will fit more petite horses, like an Arabian. Zilco's "Full/Oversize" size measures significantly larger and is best for standard horses. Both sizes are highly adjustable. For proper fit, please use the Bridle Measurement Guide or your horse's current bridle to compare to measurements above.

Comments: I bought this to use with the Zilco Little S hack. I bought the Full/Oversize and it fits my half arab perfectly. It's really well made and has shorter cheek pieces to accommodate the hack rather than a bit.

Comments: I bought two for my horses. Very nice looking. I had to return them. I was thinking it would be material like the chin straps on their Zilco hackamores, but it's the same material as the Wintec bridle. It's basically a glorified Wintec bridle. Unfortunately, that material is way too stiff, and my horses hated it. If your horse doesn't mind a Wintec, then this will work. My horses seem to prefer a supple leather or a soft Nylon headstall. I think these headstalls would have worked for them if they were made with the softer Zilco material I thought they would be. Didn't work for us, but I'm sure they're great for others.

Comments: I bought this in ARAB/COB size for my horse who wears this size in most brands. I thought the throat latch was a bit too tight (no room at all) so I had to return the bridle.

Comments: Disappointed. Overall an inferior product to the normal Zilcos. As one other reviewer mentioned, it is made from a different strapping than the other bridle/halters/breastplates that RW sells. These straps are matt (looks bad/dirty), not smooth, stiff, and have a sharp/square edge (all this makes it more likely to rub). The stainless buckles are also lighter weight with square corners. It is accurately photographed on the RW site, but I did not notice the difference since I assumed it would be the same as the rest of the tack I have. I'll be using the generous RW return policy on this item.
