Waist Rise

  • Low

Low-rise jeans sit low on or below the hips. These jeans often measure seven to eight inches from the waistband to the fork (where the legs meet the crotch).

  • Mid

Mid-rise jeans sit between the hips and the navel, just below the natural waist. This is the most common rise option offered in jeans.

  • High

High-rise jeans have the longest distance from the waistband to the fork, sitting near to or above the belly button. They can give the appearance of longer legs.

Clothing Fit

  • Fitted

Hugs the body tightly with no space between your skin and the fabric.

  • Semi-Fitted

Anatomically-styled, body-contoured apparel that fits close to the body but is not body hugging or snug.

  • Relaxed

Apparel that drapes loosely from the body and is styled to provide a fuller fit.

Additional Information

Men Jeans Styles Wrangler
SlimOur narrowest fit, the slim fit sits close to the body through the seat, thigh, and knee. You'll find it available in many of our collections with both bootcut and straight leg options in a variety of styles and washes.
OriginalOur famous 13MWZ Cowboy Cut Jean falls into this fit category. This fit is not too relaxed and never too tight through the seat, thigh, and knee. These jeans were designed to easily fit over boots.
RegularOne of our top sellers, the regular fit is more generous than a slim fit but sits closer to the body in seat, thigh, and knee than a relaxed fit. Available in all rises, this fit has options in straight leg or bootcut.
RelaxedThe relaxed fit has a roomy seat, thigh, and the knee is available in all three rises: natural, mid, and low. You'll find options in most of our collections with either a straight or bootcut leg opening and a range of washes.
LooseOur most generous fit, the loose fit has the most room through the seat, thigh, and knee. Typically available in either a natural or mid-rise, this fit is often found in carpenter, utility, and cargo styles.

Sizing

How to Measure for Wrangler Men's Jeans:

  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, where your pants normally sit.
  • Inseam: Measuring is easiest if someone helps you. Stand comfortably with legs slightly apart, measure from just below the crotch to the bottom of the ankle. Or measure a pair of pants that fits well. Lay the pants flat. Measure the inseam from the bottom of the crotch to the end of the pant leg.

Please Note:

  • If you do not have a measuring tape, use a piece of string and hold it alongside a ruler.
