Bristle Stiffness
Made to lightly dust, spread natural oils, and polish the horse's coat, these brushes are gentle on skin and hair. Bristles bend easily and flick dust and debris off. They can also be called "finishing" brushes.
Often containing multiple bristle materials, these brushes dust while also grabbing larger chunks of debris. Medium brushes are tougher on grime, skin, and hair yet still have flexible bristles.
Meant for raking dirt and debris off the coat, these bristles are not flexible and are toughest on skin and hair. Large clumps of debris and loose hair get trapped in the inflexible bristles and are brushed off.
Part of the Equi-Essentials line of Wood Back Brushes, the Large Wood Back Dandy Brush with Tampico Bristles features densely packed, all-natural Tampico bristles embedded into a natural solid wood backing, varnished to a smooth and beautiful gloss finish to ensure comfort and grip.
Natural Tampico fiber from the Mexican agave plant is an incredibly durable medium stiff bristle a sure help when battling dirt and mud on your horse's coat! This is a must-have Dandy Brush for any stable grooming kit, and is sure to provide you with years and years of grooming!
