Comments: Love the buckle allows for easy tightening however very disappointed after about an hour long ride left major girth rubs on the forward side of my horse. Used on three different mounts and had the same problem even with pulling legs out after tightnigng to relive any bunched up skin - will be looking to replace.

Comments: I've found the Weaver Smart Cinch buckle helpful for my sensitive horse. The roller action is very smooth, and I can tighten the cinch in small increments as it doesn't back off. The felt in this cinch is good quality, and not bulky.

Comments: This is a nice, well-made cinch at a great price. The felt wicks away moisture and allows for better heat dissipation than neoprene alternatives; my horse is noticeably cooler and he dries faster after untacking. The smart cinch buckle is very handy; I particularly like how it separates the latigo for wrapping and buckling, and the rollers make the process very smooth. I've used this cinch for almost a year now and it has held up very well overall. Shedding hair does stick to the felt, but can be removed with a shedding block. I do, however, have two complaints about this cinch. The roller buckle, which held up fine to every day humidity, exploded with rust after the cinch's first (and only) wash. My horse also has a forward girth spot, so his elbows bunched the cinch up a bit. This ended up causing large girth sores right after he finished shedding out most of his hair (the felt itself was slightly stiff, but not particularly dirty had not not caused problems before). I really do like this cinch, but will probably be looking for something that accommodates my horse's elbows better.
