Best English pads everI absolutely love the Weatherbeeta Prime pads. Aside from the obvious aesthetic appeal, they're some of the best quality you're going to find. I love the velvety soft underside that prevents slipping. The spine is ventilated for airflow. I love that they have D-ring straps instead of those bulky/annoying billet straps like most pads have. They have a PVC girth patch to protect the pad from the girth ends. And they are pretty reasonably priced for the quality. I have so many of these, and they all look fantastic. FYI, the A/P-shaped pads will work with dressage saddles as well as Australian saddles (up to 17").

Comments: I am completely in love with this saddle pad. If you're like me, and keep coming back and staring at it every so often, fantasizing about which colorway will look best on your horse for schooling or XC, then convincing yourself that you really don't NEED it...take my advice and treat yourself! The D-loops are a great way to secure the pad (way more useful than billet straps!), the colors really POP, and it's a great amount of padding for your saddle--more than a "baby" pad, but less than a big thick Mattes or something. I got the "Ocean's Reef" version for my Haflinger, and everyone at the barn says it looks like I skinned a mermaid. It's just that beautiful!

Comments: I love love love these Weatherbeeta prime pads. I have one A/P and two dressage pads in this style. The ombre looks amazing. The solid colors look great too. It has been a nice step up from the cheap Dover pads that aren't really shaped well and don't allow for a prominent-withered horse. But my land-shark fits great in these. I especially love that it has D-ring straps (shorter) instead of billet straps. And the PVC girth patch is great for preserving the material. The spine is ventilated for optimum airflow, and the underside reduces slippage on the horse's back. I can't say enough nice things about these. I will note that the A/P pad fits almost identically to the dressage pad. I can actually use my Rembrandt on the A/P pad and it works great.
