Comments: Got this breastplate in the cob size for my 14.2-hand, stocky POA gelding. It turned out to be a little small so I am exchanging it for a horse size. The leather seemed to be nice quality and matched my saddle well. The quick snaps were exactly what they said, quick. I am all about the rust-free snaps! Can't tell you how many corroded snaps I've had to throw away.

Comments: Terrific product - leather is good quality and thick, not flimsy. Color is dark but neutral enough to match a variety of saddles. Oddly enough it goes with my dark chocolate "Ebony" saddle as well as my husband's medium reddish "Havana" saddle equally well. Brass hardware is super sturdy and handsome. Overall, the breastplate looks so much more expensive than it actually was! Great value and the usual terrific service from Rider's Warehouse!

Comments: I bought the oversize to fit a large mule that I haven't been able to fit with a normal size breast collar. The leather quality and color are good, but the construction isn't great. The loop that goes around the girth arrived with the rivet barely catching the leather and it tore out as soon as I started handling it. Also, the proportions seemed off. There is no way to shorten the center strap that goes to the girth enough to work. I will have to cut it and figure something out because Riding Warehouse was going to make me pay shipping to send it back, and it wasn't worth what it would cost to send it back--I will just see if I can cut it apart and make it work.
