Product Details
Cleaning:
- Remove the interior pads in your Tipperary Helmet prior to cleaning it
- Hand wash the interior lining and pads with cold water and mild soap
- Clean your Tipperary Helmet with a soft cloth just on the outer shell
- Brush the interior of your Tipperary Helmet with a soft brush (e.g. toothbrush)
- To clean your Helmet use mild soap and water
- Rinse your Helmet with cold water
- Let your Helmet air dry
- Do not use any cleaning agents other than a mild soap
Care:
- Do not expose or store this helmet, its interior liner or any of its components to common household cleaners, bug sprays, cleaning solvents, paints, chemicals or fertilizers. Doing so may result in unseen damage to the helmet.
- Do not store your Helmet in direct sunlight or in any area where the temperature could exceed 130°F or 54°C (e.g. interior of a vehicle)
- Do not machine wash or dry clean
Tipperary Helmet Replacement Policy Provisions:
- Tipperary will replace a helmet that has been damaged in a riding accident up to two years from the date of purchase
- Discount of 50% of the current retail price of damaged helmet will be provided to qualifying customers
- If processed by Riding Warehouse:

- Riding Warehouse staff will email Tipperary the helmet SKU, customer name and proof the helmet has been destroyed (e.g., images of helmet with harness cut or removed)
- Tipperary will inform Riding Warehouse if the discount replacement program applies to the customer’s replacement helmet
- Customer selects new Tipperary helmet and Riding Warehouse processes order, applying appropriate discount amount as per direction from Tipperary
- If processed by Tipperary directly:

- Customer may contact Tipperary directly at (888) 313-8842 or info@tipperaryequestrian.com
- If qualifying, Tipperary will ship the customer a new helmet with applicable discount, plus a $10 shipping and handling fee
- Helmets that have been damaged through misuse or dropping do not qualify for this program
- IMPORTANT: Helmets involved in an accident should not be worn again. Customer will be instructed to cut off the harness to ensure no one uses the damaged helmet and properly dispose of it

Finally Bit The Bullet, Got a pretty helmet.I am super happy with how pretty this helmet is. I normally buy at least 1 helmet a year, if not more to trail ride in. We are kinda rough on them and I need our heads protected. Well, this year I started showing my hot red-headed mare and thought we needed to bump up our helmet game and buy something specifically to show in. This helmet is so pretty and classy, and the price is not "too" bad, although the most I have ever spent. I do love the Tipperary Helmets, but had stopped buying them because I have a round big head. This helmet actually fits the shape of my head as compared to the Sportage, which squeezes. Anyway, love the helmet.

Comments: I've had this helmet a few weeks now, and am extremely pleased with it. While it's not as crazy breathable as a Sportage, this helmet is breathable, comfortable and has a definite high end feel. The brim is a leather-like feel, as is the harness. I no longer have problems with the harness getting weird when I hang my helmet with this model. This helmet also looks super classy and I LOVE the wide brim. I didn't even think about it until I realized I haven't needed sunglasses to ride since I got this helmet. It's amazing to not have to hold my head strangely to try and avoid bright evening sunlight, wear sunglasses that slip, don't fit well under my helmet or fog up, and I don't have to wear a brim to achieve it. I have a naughty young horse and was sure I'd damage or lose a brim during her antics, and now I don't have to worry. The only moment I haven't been happy with this helmet is when it came out of the box, and seemed WAY too small. The adjustment harness is stiff the first few uses and is all the way in when it came out of the box, and I couldn't get it on my head. A minute of playing with the harness later, I was MUCH happier. I hope Tipperary keeps this model around forever, I LOVE it and will buy another if they're available whenever I need to replace my current one.
