Sensitive horse approved!I have a sensitive young horse who is learning some in-hand work before we proceed to riding, and he did not like the Micklem Multi Bridle cavesson. I decided to try this, and he is a totally different horse in it. He licks, chews, and is happy in his work. I also like the softness of the Thinline padding as it helps keep it from moving around on his nose without me having to have it super tight. I have been recommending it to everyone!
Places cheekpieces a bit highI like the basic design and construction of this bitless noseband; however, the placement of the slots for the cheekpieces is too high on the standard horse size. This might be okay for a horse with a narrow lower facial structure, but on a horse who is larger, this doesn't work so well. Also, the cheekpieces are borderline too close to the eyes and nerve structure. Thinline should consider a Warmblood or oversized option.

Does what it saysEasy way to try bitless. Good quality. I guess if I had to nitpick, the opening for the cheekpieces are not symmetrical on mine.
Such an easy conversion to bitless!I love how easy this is to convert your normal bridle to bitless! It’s nicely padded, and the leather quality is good. Most importantly, both of my horses really enjoy it!

Thinline bitless bridle/nosebandBeautiful leather and workmanship. Works like a charm.
Nice but could use a little improvementThe leather is very soft and the padding is nice, but I didn't realize from the picture how far back the rein ring is on the noseband. This may make it a little harder for finer communication of aids (in my opinion) riding many horses, and it makes it less useful for lunging pre-ride, too. I think if they considered making a D-ring attachment for the crownpiece loops instead of having the whole attachment in the noseband itself, they could move the rein ring forward while also making the noseband a little less bulky on the nose.
Truly easy harmonyI got this for my pony (who has probably an Arabian-sized head), and it works great and looks sharp. I’ve switched all my horses to these bitless bridles. They all ride softer and lighter and seem to appreciate their new tack. We’re big fans!
Love It!This is the best purchase relative to trying to craft a headstall for riding my Arabian. She was displeased with the bit, I switched to this, and we're off and running! Definitely recommend this fabulous noseband.
High Quality, My Horse Loves ItLet's start with the packaging: it came in a nice, zippered package to keep it dust-free and prevent any damage prior to purchase. I put it on my lesson pony and she loves it. We moved from a western-style sidepull to this because it's visually more versatile when she goes between her Western and English students, and it's got really lovely padding on the nose. I recommend it for soft horses or riders who are figuring out timing and feel. I want another one in black.
Comfortable, pretty, and easy to useI first learned about this bridle converter through Harmony Horsemanship and Lindsey Partridge. I love Thinline's saddle pads, so when I saw it on Riding Warehouse at such a great price, I had to try it. It is very simple to use and comfortable on my mare's nose. I typically ride bitless in a Fusion Halter, but I find this to be more comfy for my horse on longer trail rides (vs rope). It has really nice padding. If you've been thinking about trying to ride bitless, this is a great tool!

Comments: My Arabian gelding had always resisted having the bit put in his mouth; it was a battle! He would raise his head until I gave him a treat to get his head down again, then would try to stealthily slip the bit in his mouth as he was chewing. He would also fiddle with the snaffle bit the entire time on the trail and stop constantly to rub his mouth on his legs. This noseband has completely changed all that! He keeps his head low while I put this on him, there is no more stopping and rubbing his mouth. He responds perfectly to the sidepull reins and stops on a dime when asked. This has really helped him become my perfect horse- I wish I had found this years earlier!
