Overview
Key Features
Key Features
-
Wide FootbedWide Footbed
Stirrups with a wide footbed provide a larger surface area for the rider's foot, helping distribute pressure for improved stability, control, and comfort. This design is popular amongst riders of various disciplines.
-
Extra GripExtra Grip
Stirrups with extra grip or aggressive tread provide added traction to help keep the rider's foot securely in place. This feature is especially useful for riders traveling at speed or jumping, where a steady leg position is essential.
-
Quick Release SystemQuick Release System
Quick-release stirrups are designed to open under pressure, so a rider's foot can disengage during a fall. Some feature a hinged arm that releases from the top or side, while others use an open design where the foot can slip free more easily.
-
Offset/Angeled EyeletOffset/Angeled Eyelet
Stirrups with offset or angled eyelets help riders achieve proper position in the irons. The angled eyelet encourages the foot to turn inward (Ideally, a rider's foot sits at about a 45-degree angle; the outside branch slightly forward and the inside slightly back.) allowing the rider to apply leg aids more effectively.
Weight
Weight
-
Light Weight
Lightweight stirrups (under 1 lb) are favored by riders who prefer lighter tack for performance riding and competitions. A drawback of this weight is that a lost stirrup can be harder to retrieve due to its lighter build.
-
Medium Weight
Midweight stirrups (1-1.5 lbs) offer a balanced feel that many riders prefer for everyday riding and competing. They provide enough weight for easy stirrup retrieval while still keeping tack relatively light.
-
Heavy Weight
Heavyweight stirrups (over 1.5 lbs) are preferred by riders who want maximum stability and easy stirrup retrieval. The added weight helps the stirrups hang in place, making them favored by dressage riders.
Designed for endurance riders who demand both comfort and safety on long treks, the Tech Stirrups Venice Xtrail Endurance Safety Stirrups deliver outstanding performance. Developed with four advanced shock absorbers, the Venice Xtrail helps your knees and ankles feel cushioned even after hours in the saddle.
Mud and debris won't stand a chance as the stirrup's design naturally prevents buildup. A subtle 5° incline guides your foot into the ideal riding position, keeping you steady whether splashing through water, navigating muddy paths, or crossing sandy trails. Another great feature is the intentional design of the pyramid shape which provides enough room for most footwear worn in the sport of endurance.
On top of all the other great features of the Xtrail Stirrups, the safety mechanism is an endurance rider's best friend! Should an accident occur, the foot is released instantly, and the stirrup resets itself automatically. Built with high-quality lightweight aluminum and the market's widest safety opening, these stirrups are endurance-focused, durable, reliable, and made for the long haul. The insole and shock-absorbing inserts are easy to replace, giving you longevity for all your adventures.

Additional Information
Technology:
The Venice Safety Design originates in a unique mechanism that allows the foot to release in case of need with minimal force towards the mobile part, which then automatically returns to its original position thanks to an installed spring.
The spring installed allows the mobile part to remain closed during use, and to open when needed through a push of the foot.
The mobile part is designed to return to its closed position once the foot has been released so that there is no protruding part that could potentially harm the rider and/or horse, should the horse fall to the ground.
