Comments: After swearing off chemical fly sprays due to health concerns and my husband is a beekeeper, I had to bite the bullet and do something with the onslaught of flies we got hit with this spring. A friend told me about Pyranha spray so I decided to try, I thought even if I used it a premise spray it may be worth the chemicals. This stuff works! I sprayed all three horse stalls, which are "open" stalls, and the flies stopped immediately and stayed out for almost 5 days! I lightly sprayed the horses' legs and it lasted a few days. The smell isn't terribly offensive, and though some sprays do cause an allergic reaction to one of our mares and our young gelding (even natural sprays), so far they have handled this spray without any issues, and I am careful of not going crazy with spraying so no harm to the bees. Highly recommend it.

Comments: My new horse had a bad allergic reaction to the spray. After a week of spraying her , her neck broke out in hives. She was getting more and more agitated each time I'd spray her. Took me a bit to put the pieces together. I stopped and her skin started peeling where the hives were. Bathed her with a soothing all natural product and will NEVER USE THIS AGAIN. One other horse at barn had same reaction on his legs. Seems some of the horses can tolerate it but GESH!!
