Directions for Use:
Before using, the leather should be sponged off with warm water. Then apply product with a clean, damp sponge and rub it in using circular motions. After that, rinse the leather with warm water.

Comments: My saddle manufacturer recommended, and was using, Passier Lederbalsam Leather Conditioner. After the conditioner I decided to try Passier Leather Saddle Soap. Wow, wow, wow! I have never had an easier time cleaning dried sweat and dirt from my saddle. Then I cleaned some old bridles that had been sitting for years with seat and dirt left on them and was amazed at how little scrubbing effort I had to apply to get them clean. Everything I cleaned with this leather soap was soft and supple once dried (it was all good quality leather to begin with).
