Overview
The innovative Nirak Anatomical Leather Bridle from PS of Sweden combines the best of both a hackamore and a traditional bridle.
An upward curve to the noseband is specially designed to reduce pressure on airways and help naturally support the horse. Attaching only one side piece to the noseband mimics the pressure on the nose typically created by a hackamore and can be adjusted by its positioning. The further down it rests, the more effect it has!
The anatomically designed crown encourages even pressure distribution over the entire area. A special air tunnel over the poll removes centralized pressure from sensitive nerve pathways, muscle attachments, and ligaments around the neck. Elastic Cradles™ further help reduce pressure from the cheekpieces as the bit rests on an elastic band, called a vagga, which provides even more comfort and allows the bit to "spring". The Cradles™ are easily detached when you enter the dressage court.
The U-shaped browband features a rubberized anti-slip inside to prevent sliding, as stops on the crownpiece keep it from moving too far down on your horse's head. PS of Sweden's popular Click-It™ function allows you to easily remove and change browbands, even while the Nirak is still being worn! Constructed with flat, Italian vegetable-tanned leather, this bridle is ideal for helping your horse relax and perform their best on every ride.
