Designed with the practical horseman in mind, the Niblet Hay Net features a durable poly-blend rope woven into square holes to ensure your horse will spend more time doing his favorite thing - eating! Slower feeding can be beneficial for horses prone to certain conditions such as foundering, laminitis, or ulcers and is a great way to keep a bored horse busy! Smaller openings not only ensure safety by reducing the chance of your horse getting caught up in them, but they also help reduce waste, especially when soaking hay or feeding compressed flakes of hay.

Comments: I love these small hole hay feeders. Have used both the large and the small and like the small in the horse trailer. I have corner feeders with mesh bottoms so whatever hay falls from the nets lands in the feeders. Very little ends up on the floor or blowing around inside while hauling. This smaller size holds just the right amount of hay to keep my horses busy.

Comments: I have five of these. I initially purchased one to try, then bought more. I feed hay three times per day & it's great to have a couple of spares. I remove the string, close them with a carabiner and toss one on the ground. It really helps slow my horse's eating down & make his hay last longer. The sizing and shape of these is inconsistent, but workable. No complaints about durability for the great price. Much more affordable than other expensive brands of slow feed hay nets.

Comments: This is a great net for the price. I have two that I use for trailer rides. It keeps the hay from being wasted and falling on the ground. And it has held up to the abuse. I had to re-tie the draw string on one bag, but that's the only problem I have had with these.

Comments: I purchased the stall size and the trailer size of these nets and they both hold a lot of hay. I use the trailer size in the stall as well. The quality of the net is good; however, the drawstring has broken about 5 times in a 2-week period. You have to find it, tie it, and rethread it, which becomes a pain. I would suggest they use a different color for the drawstring, and make it stronger. These nets have saved me a lot of hay though, and my horses haven't caused them any damage.

Comments: FYI, these are cheap for a reason. If you want something super nice then order the other brand. They work just fine, they just aren't top of the line. Great value though! I ordered 5 of them and I see they are all different sizes. Who cares!

Comments: I like this net, easy to fill and great in the trailer or corral! I bought one of the other kinds too but like this one best.

Comments: Great for the price, but consistency with the hole sizing can be way off. The last few I received had holes with sizing up to 5 inches wide and a lot of loose knots. I returned them and reordered, but also ended up returning all but one, as they were found to be similar. I still like them though and the older ones have worn well and are still in great shape.

Comments: I just got two of these delivered today. Upon first glance, they seem soft, but potentially flimsy. My horses live outside and I hang my smaller nets on the pipe fencing. I debated on whether or not to just send them back, but I decided for the price I will give them a try. Interested to see how these hold up compared to the standard poly rope nets.

Comments: I have been very pleased with the Niblet hay net slow feeders. The soft material used for this style has lasted longer for me than the more expensive nylon rope used in some other brands and seems less abrasive on the horse's lips. My horses have no problem with the small holes.

Comments: I tried a small one both in the trailer and tied to the corner post of a portable corral. My horse could not get the hay out of the small holes and finally just gave up. He does fine with one of the heavy duty expensive sewn strap type slow feeders.
