Care:
There is no right or wrong product, but it is recommended that conditioners be kept away from the seats of the saddles as much as possible, as using some conditioners more often than a couple of times a month can lead to over-softening of the already soft seat-leather, creating wrinkles. Wiping down with a soft cloth or damp sponge is usually enough for day-to-day care, leather cleaner and conditioner when the leather needs a bit more, and deep condition if the saddle is used during inclement weather (immediately after the ride) and allow it to dry thoroughly before riding again. Local professionals can guide you through the many products available for cleaning and conditioning, but it’s not necessary to overdo the products on a daily basis. MTL Saddles are soft and comfortable from the beginning, and as long as you keep the leather clean and supple, your saddle should last a long time.

With its integral parts constructed of case-hardened steel, the Genesis is also the only adjustable gullet system backed by a 5-year limited warranty that covers all of the moving parts in the Genesis Adjustable Tree System™. Adjustments to the Genesis system are made quickly and easily in three steps using the included tools: Unlock the gullet by gently loosening the set screws with the Hex Wrench, adjust the gullet width with the short rotation tool, and lock in the new width by gently tightening the set screws with the Hex Wrench. All your adjustments are made almost instantly and without taking the saddle apart. A small, discrete flap underneath the saddle is all you need to open, and you can adjust your Genesis gullet as often as you need for every horse you ride.
Wool Soft Touch Panels:
No lumps, no bumps, no hotspots! Soft Touch panels are made with pure soft latex rubber and genuine wool flocking. The bottom layer of latex rubber allows the panels to mold to the horse's back. This creates a more comfortable, better-fitting saddle with wool-flocked panels.
