It really does cool the leg!Used as under wrap cooling liniment, no scuffing or irritation of any kind. It is easy to use, stays in place, and does indeed feel cool to the touch after applying. Will use it again.

Comments: It really provides a cooling effect! I used it on my mare's front legs on a warm evening after a ride and 5-10 min later (I did hose off her legs first), her legs were absolutely chilly to the touch! It does not give any tingling sensation (which she can't stand), I left it on overnight and there was no signs of irritation of any kind the next day. This will definitely make it to our post-ride routine whether after a demanding ride or on hot days!
