Comments: This is a good length for a Thinline bareback pad when I have it at it's shortest length (each buckle has two holes), and is surprisingly sturdy for the price. Also, even though I like the idea of quick clips, I actually prefer the buckles that this strap has - less metal to potentially bounce around and make noise. It's already kept me from falling off once so totally worth purchasing.

Comments: Fine product. It is a big long for a dressage saddle, but I like the extra length as it allows you to hold it while having your hands at the right height. Sturdy strap.

Comments: I think of this as an artificial mane. I normally grab mane when I need extra support or stability, but our mare has a really thin mane, and this is an elegant substitute.

Comments: I never ride without my leather grab strap! Not that I have a naughty horse, but you never know when you will need a little extra security to hold on to. I use it especially on those windy days when my horse has a bit of spook in him. I also use it while training, when I’m trying to keep a steadier hand or while I’m practicing sitting trot, to sit deeper in the saddle, especially during trot lengthenings.
