Design flaws.These design flaws may be common to other brands, but if so, I'd have hoped LeMieux would have addressed them.
There's a snap on each side to hold the top stiffener panel in place. Presumably to replace it if it fails? But the snaps won't stay shut and it's just a ridiculous design. It does attract dust and is too big to go in the washing machine.
Someone should rethink this type of bag overall though. They all have the same problem: getting pads out is too tricky. You either have to try and shimmy a pad out from between others while the bag is hanging up, or lay it in the ground to undo the inner strap. Cue dirty pads. Otherwise the bag is well made and I've used it at shows a lot.
Nice in theory - but show pads will get dirtyI really wanted to like this, but the mesh on 3 of 4 sides means my white show pads will get dirty when traveling. Any time you have it set it down, dirt will be able to come into contact with pads. I didn’t have the energy to box up and return, so I’m keeping it and will use it to store pads at home. Bummed out and it is good looking.
