Comments: Runs small. The girth came out of the box really soft and felt nice. However, the buckles are placed about 1/2 inch lower than normal, so the 26" girth ends up fitting more like a 24" girth. My horse goes in a 26" with about 4 holes up each side. This one I could barely get around her to get the first hold attached. The ends of the girth also are a lot wider than they look in the photo. With the longer girth maybe it will be more out of the way, but it sits right behind the meaty part of the shoulder otherwise. There is a nice cutout for the elbow. I'm going to give the larger size a try.
