With a 1200 denier waterproof outer and 200g of fill, the LeMieux Arika Storm-Tek Rug Blanket keeps your horse warm and dry, even in wet conditions. The seamless back design prevents water from seeping through to your horse, while the thermobonded fill stays securely in place without slipping or bunching, providing consistent warmth season after season. A detachable neck cover lets you customize the level of protection your horse needs.
Inside, the antibacterial, anti-static lining helps maintain a shiny coat while keeping the blanket balanced on your horse's back. The Storm-Tek is also designed to self-right if it shifts in the pasture, so you can spend less time trekking through the mud to adjust a slipped blanket.
Two T-bar front closures with hook-and-loop fasteners provide a secure fit, while the angled upper closure relieves pressure across the point of the shoulder for greater freedom of movement. A two-part skirt allows unrestricted movement through the shoulders and hindquarters, helps prevent rubbing, and provides extra protection against mud and splashes during turnout. Three belly surcingles keep the blanket secure, with a removable center surcingle for a more customizable fit.
Additional thoughtful details include reflective strips for improved visibility in low light, an extra-long tail flap for enhanced coverage, and a silicone-covered tail strap that's easy to wipe clean. Compatible with the full range of LeMieux blanket liners, bibs, and neck covers, the Storm-Tek adapts easily to changing weather throughout blanket season.
