A versatile training or performance bit, this baucher bit features the double-jointed "French Link" mouthpiece that applies balanced, moderate pressure across the tongue, bars and lips of the horse's mouth when the reins are engaged.

The fixed attachment to the bridle provides more stability than a loose ring or eggbutt cheek piece to encourage a balanced response to rein pressure. The Korsteel® brand offers the finest hand-polished stainless steel for maximum luster and brilliance and classic cast construction for precise balance and performance.

Comments:  I know this is a frequently misunderstood bit, but it has helped my Arab get softer and lighter in the bridle.  It is a well made bit, heavy and solid in your hand with no sharp edges.  I'm showing First Level/schooling Second Level dressage with this bit and find that my horse is lighter in this bit than in other snaffles.  It does not provide any leverage; it is a true snaffle and legal for USDF shows.
