Comments: For accurate sizing on Kool Coat sheets, refer to the Manufacturer's Weatherbeeta Size Chart. I have purchased several this way and do not have a problem with the sheets being too long or too large. The measurements needed for the correct size are: 1. from mid-chest to end of rump along side of horse (NOT all the way to side or middle of tail). 2. from withers to top of tail down center of horse's back. Their size chart lists these 2 measurements for each sheet size, so you can compare them to your horse's measurements. The correct size will probably be smaller than your horse's "usual" size because other Brands measure to the side or center of tail for the side measurement. Going a size larger or smaller would depend on if your horse is broad in the body, but short-backed or big/long everywhere, etc. Very nice that RW offers free returns if you get the wrong size. Picking a larger size than needed will cause it to slide back and cause shoulder/wither rubs and neck constriction, as well as being too long! Hoping this helps! I have used the Kool Coat Classic Sheets so far, but not this model. I am happy with them. I have used many brands of sheets and blankets and each horse has issues with getting a perfect fit.

Comments: Awful fit, should have paid attention to the reviews elsewhere. It's really narrow in the chest (even for a TB who's not very wide) and very long (78" fits like an 81+") so the weight of the sheet hangs down behind and pulls the blanket back, binds the shoulders more, and causes the top chest strap to cut into the horse's windpipe. It also hangs down so much it gets covered with manure. UGH!
