Great halter at a great price.It runs a little big for my Oldenburg Mare (I purchased Horse Size). I love having some rope on her nose and the nice leather over her poll. A good value.
this thing is hugeI bought the horse size for my OTTB... he was literally swimming in it. I gave it to my friend for her draft cross and it was also a bit big on, functional, but big. I ended up buying the cob size for my OTTB, and it's a little big but it works.
Perfect combo of looks and function!I love this halter - I prefer the function of a rope halter, but the look (and safety) of a leather and this is the perfect blend of both worlds. The navy looks stunning on my grey.
Fits way too bigThis does not fit any horse in my barn; they would have to be a monster.

Comments: Runs large. This halter is GORGEOUS and unique however the nylon started fraying after just a few uses. I kept the matching leadrope as it's also beautiful and isn't fraying. But sadly, the halter went back.

Comments: I bought it in blue for my chestnut mare and she gets compliments on it all the time! The leather is of surprisingly good quality for the price (soft and very supple) and has held up well so far (hang up at her pasture gate in all weathers) with no cleaning or conditioning. The rope part is also not getting as dirty as I thought it would. The hardware, however, has started to rust a tad after a couple of months... As far as fit, I bought the horse size, but wish I had bought the cob size for my fine bone Trakehner mare.
