Fabulously soft, my hands love them!Great quality leather. I was worried with how slim they are and that with the padding they would be hard to keep ahold of. Not the case at all. I'm buying my second pair today to replace the web reins on my other bridle as well. Easily the most comfortable reins ever!
Great Curb ReinI am using these 1/2" reins as curb reins for a pelham. These reins are soft, and I like the stops. If I was really picky, I would say I wish the stops were more numerous and maybe am a bit concerned that the folded edge of the soft leather will wear with heavy use, but since these are pretty price friendly, even if they do show wear more quickly than I like, I would re-buy every season if needed. It's wonderful to have an easy-to-grip curb rein that I can use even on days when I leave my gloves at home.
