Soft, durable, and perfect thicknessI've tried several types and brands of reins, and I have to say these are my favorite so far. The stops are subtle and allow you to move them easily in your hands, due to the softness and ideal size. They clean up nicely and do not get slippery even when wet. They soak up conditioner and look lovely even after months of use, dirt, sweat and grime. Just a touch of saddle soap weekly, then some Effol and Rapide cream keeps them looking literally brand new. Affordable to boot!

Comments: I had been debating between these and the Schockemohle Durasoft reins, and I'm SO glad I went with these (having played with the Durasoft reins while in another store, I can definitely say these are comparable at a fraction of the price.) I was surprised with how soft they were right out of the box, and were great to use from the first ride; I've recommended them to just about everyone in my barn. If I had to be picky, I would say that they were a hair slippery the first time I used them (I rode with gloves, and the issue was fixable with pass of leather conditioner.) That said, 10/10 would definitely recommend!
