The Kavalkade Pure Lambskin Half Pad is ideal for sensitive horses as this pad is made exclusively of natural lambskin. The result is a very thin pad that allows the rider to sit close to the horse while the natural texture of the lambskin minimizes slippage. Kavalkade recommends placing the pad directly on your horse's back, underneath your usual saddle pad. Doing so takes advantage of the impact-absorbing and temperature-compensating properties of the lambskin. The pad dissipates perspiration and heat much more effectively than synthetic pads.
