Cute and comfyI wanted a light, comfortable halter for grooming and around the barn, and this fits! I have gotten a ton of compliments on it. Quality craftsmanship. The noseband is a little bit stretchy because of the soft material. The lead rope is short but works perfectly around the aisles.

Comments: I ordered this halter in burgundy ("bordeaux") and black for a big (15.3hh) bay Arabian who often falls between cob and full sizes. He fits nicely into a cob, and because the noseband is adjustable it looks great on him and not like he's wearing his older brother's clothes. The cord portion is thick and very soft, like those British slip leads they make for dogs. If you're looking for a rope halter for control, this isn't it, but it's very attractive and very comfortable. The chin buckle and all of the trim is leather. The crown is padded leather of good quality and the hardware is beautiful shiny silver. Love that it comes with a matching lead, too.

Comments: Love, LOVE these halters. I have always used regular leather halters, but I've been won over by these combination halters. Eliminates the need to use a lead chain when called for, while remaining kind to the horse's face. My horses have reacted extremely well, easier to diffuse tense situations when I would usually need a chain. Gives the handler the backup needed to stay safe while remaining kind to the horse. Big, big fan and will be replacing all of my horse's halters with these.
