JMS Sheepskin Stirrup Leather Covers will accommodate a 2" stirrup strap and put a stop to pinching and chafing, keeping you comfortable for miles and miles! These luxurious 100% Merino sheepskin covers are completely washable too! These plush stirrup leather covers are a sewn/tube variety which you install by removing the stirrup and sliding the covers over your stirrup leathers. 

The JMS Merino Sheepskin (JMS) Stirrup Leather Covers have a one-inch thick Merino wool pile which assures your comfort on long rides and in all weather. JMS uses only premium Merino Sheepskin pelts imported from Australia and they are thick, soft, and the most durable available. JMS hand-traces and hand cuts their products at their ranch in Southern Arizona. JMS products are praised in Perfect Horse and Horse Journal so you can be assured of receiving a quality product you will enjoy using for years.

Additional Information

Materials:

While other materials trap heat and moisture and need to be perforated to allow heat/moisture to escape sheepskin's performance actually improves with moisture content. Each fiber contains many chambers that naturally store liquid, becoming more plump and elastic with increased moisture, translating into effective relief of pressure points and creating a vital protective layer between your saddle and your horse's back.

Care Suggestions: 

To clean, simply machine wash on gentle, or by hand, with cool water and mild soap.  Air dry out of the sun.  Use a vacuum or brush to keep the wool pile fluffy.

Calf saverReally love these! I hate half chaps and I love English stirrups. I hate calf rubs! These really were a great solution. I have done 3 50's with them and they still look brand new. Work for shorter and longer legs. I am really short however I had a 6'2 man ride in my saddle and it worked for him as well

Stirrup CoversI bought new super wide stirrup leathers and these 2" covers fit perfectly. I love they are a "tube" with no velcro. I've had both kinds and prefer these.
