Design & Materials:
The innovative Mio Classic Cut Design fit features a high neck and high-set front chest closures to prevent the blanket from slipping back and causing undesired pressure or rubbing along the mane, neck or withers of the horse.
The patented Horseware Leg Arches™ offer advantages over traditional gussets, such as a seamless, ergonomic design to relieve tension from the neck and shoulder as well as full freedom of forward movement for the front leg. The contoured cut behind the elbow prevents material from gathering behind the front leg, effectively eliminating unwanted rubbing or chafing during turnout.
Exclusive to Horseware, Ireland, the Amigo Mio features a 100% waterproof AquaTrans™ coating, a sponge-like hydrophilic coating that draws moisture from inside the blanket up and out through the outer lining to evaporate.
Sizing
How to Measure:
The fit of your rug is extremely important to ensure the comfort of your horse and to prevent rubbing and rug slippage. As horses of the same height at the wither come in a variety of shapes and sizes, it is useful to take certain measurements of your horse. Using a soft measuring tape, measure from the center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the point at the center of the tail. When you have the measurement, remove 10 cm (4 inches) and choose your horse's size from the table below. Bear in mind that every horse is different and that this table is a guide only.
