This large, sturdy treat dispenser features thick plastic construction that ensures long-lasting durability. The 4.5" opening with a screw-on top allows for easy filling with apple pieces, carrots, and other treats. Bored pony is entertained!My pony is recovering by herself from laminitis and was lonely, but she seems happy now. I put Bermuda pellets inside. It's so big it doesn't fit through her corral panel, so she won't get frustrated. I'll take it away after a few hours per day, so she doesn't get bored with it.
My Horses Love ItMy four horses love the treats I put in, for them, for their evening play toy. Keeps them busy at night after their dinner is gone. These toys last a long time since they are durable. Have tried other on-the-ground treat toys, but they always break right away. This one is larger and thicker plastic. In eight years I have only had to throw away one that cracked. Sometimes horses can get the cover off, but that is rare. Just make sure it’s on tight, or just fill it through the access hole instead. It’s expensive to purchase. Especially for more than one horse, or else, the others get jealous! If the access hole is drilled too low treats come out easily. This one I received has a hole drilled a little too low and lower than my others that’s why I gave it four stars. Didn’t want to send it back and wait for another due to just adopting a Mustang filly. Needed it right now and it did help her understand how to play with it since treats came out more easier. If playing with it in a stall the horses can bang it around on the walls. This makes noise, so if you are bothered by that, you may not be happy. If you board the owners will not be happy if they are not familiar with this toy. I don’t board, so doesn’t bother me if my horses are happy playing with it!
Great foraging toyThis toy works great for large hay cubes or fresh fruit. It has a 2" hole for the treats to pop out, and you can unscrew one side for easy loading as well as for cleaning. I use mine to give my easy-keeping gelding some enrichment activities.

Comments: My horses LOVE Amazing Graze. It didn't take them long to figure it out, either. I didn't show them what to do-- they solved it on their own. The dominant horse runs the others off if she sees them playing with it without her. It's her toy, I guess! We've only had it about a week now, and the horses nicker at me anytime I refill it and they see me carry it back out. I put a few handfuls of timothy pellets in it, with bits of broken-up alfalfa cubes every now and then. Keeps them busy for two or three hours even with that little bit.

Comments: My donkeys LOVE these! They have had smaller 'food balls' in the past and they quickly had these figured out. Big enough to really fill them up and keep them busy for a while. They are always super excited every time I refill them. Great price from Riding Warehouse too!
