Comments: I purchased the Horse Guard Super Weight Gain. My 19 year old thoroughbred/quarter horse has started aging like a thoroughbred and has started having a tough time keeping weight on. He loves the taste of it and eats it everyday. I have found that he requires a little more than the recommended amount.

My horse had a hard time traveling from CA to WA and when we first put her on pasture she dropped some weight and was too busy fretting instead of eating. Comments: I’ve owned my OTTB for almost two years now and I’ve always struggled to keep weight on him. Comments: Horse Guard Super Weight Gain is seriously a lifesaver! I have seen first hand, several horses make a complete 180° on this supplement. The first time I tried this supplement was on an elderly gelding at work. He had recently had a mild colic episode and it caused him to drop some weight. He was already a very picky eater and had recently decided he no longer liked the fat supplement we were feeding him. I decided to try him on SWG and thankfully he loved it. Within 2 months he had put on a significant amount of weight and his ribs and hip bones were well covered. The other horses I have used SWG on have been younger horses that needed a little extra help putting on a little bit of weight and muscle. Within a month or two I always see a difference! I even fed my personal mare 1/4 dose and saw a huge difference in her muscle development!!
