Flaxseed TreatsMy horse loves these treats. I wanted something healthy and small so I can give a lot of them as training treats. They are a bit crumbly, but I can just put the small bits on top of my supplements.
I love this, and my horses do too!!This is such a great treat for my horses. There is no sugar added, just flax seed! I have a light-colored Palomino, and he looked white after I shaved him. I've been giving him these Flix for the past 3 months, and the new hair is so shiny and so much darker now! It is a deep gold that just glistens in the sunlight! I know it's because of these treats!! My elderly mini-donkey loves them!Flix is the perfect treat for my wee donkey, Elizabeth. She has Cushing's disease and arthritis. The anti-inflammatory properties of flax are one of the things I bought it for, plus it doesn't cause any spikes in her blood sugar. The bonus part of this product: her coat is very soft and shiny; she doesn't have the look of an old shaggy donkey with Cushing's. Also she's such a little cookie monster, so these satisfy her munchies! Any of the small pieces, crumbs or dust, I add to her beet pulp mash along with her supplements. She loves it!
Healthy snacksI was looking for some healthy treats for my senior horse who can be picky about treats. These were a hit! They're crunchy but not as hard as other treats and easy to chew.

Comments: My gelding turned up his nose to ground flax, even though I wanted to make sure he had some in his diet for its anti-inflammatory qualities. Flix to the rescue. He LOVES them. So easy to give him a handful or feed as treats. This product is a real winner.

Comments: I've been using Flix for a few months now on my old mares and they are doing very well on it. I was feeding flaxseeds but they spill and get bugs in them sometimes, so this is a much better way to get the Flax they need per day and it's like giving them a treat. They really love them. Hair coats look great and they aren't as stiff, arthritic although I also give them strong joint supplement it works better also adding the Flix.

Comments: I love the Flix treats because I have a pony who I do not want to get a lot of sugar, but he LOVES his treats. These treats are safe for HYPP horses and are loaded with healthy fats but no added sugar like so many other treats on the market. The balance of Omega 3's and 6's adds healthy fats with none of the inflammation that comes from adding vegetable or corn oils. They are the only treats I come back to time and time again because they are so healthy and my pony is a BIG fan of them!

Comments: I can’t say enough about these treats! They have proven to help my horses coats even though I give them every so often as a treat. My 17-year-old Gelding has a really picky treat palette and declines most treats. With these, he eats them immediately and looks forward to eating them as a reward, plus they are healthy so I don’t have to worry about giving them too much sugar! I have to add I love that they are small, they are big enough for my horses to chew them properly but small enough to just be a small reward. I truly can’t say enough good things about these treats.
