Comments: On a suggestion from my farrier, I started last month adding Hilton's Vitex Plus to the supplements and grain given to my 26-year-old cresty-necked Morgan cross gelding. His coat has become shaggier and takes longer to shed each year and recently, he just seemed depressed. After two weeks I saw improvement in his coat, after 4 he is beautiful and shiny again, and his crestiness has decreased. Another benefit appears to be his mood. He just seems happier and others have noticed it. Yesterday after a 30-minute pasture turnout (all he is allowed), I called to him and he came running which gives me real happiness. I would highly recommend this supplement to anyone dealing with a horse with metabolic issues.
