The exclusive SENSOGAN® material is truly a milestone for horse and rider. An improvement of Herm Sprenger's exclusive AURIGAN metal, SENSOGAN® delivers more regulated oxidation and boasts additional benefits for the horse's satisfaction, motivation, and overall health and well-being. This combination of (reduced) copper, manganese, and zinc offer oxidation regulation for a pleasant taste and sensation that encourages suppleness in the mouth. Manganese, specifically, is known for preventing muscle tension and reducing stress, as well as reducing histamine to prevent allergic reactions. This blend supports natural chewing and does not tarnish easily!
KK Ultra technology provides a shortened center lozenge set at a 45-degree angle. This allows movement of the center lozenge across the tongue without the attached joints exerting pressure on the mouth for a lighter feel to the horse. KK Ultra bits are a particularly great option for horses that lack an abundance of space in the mouth for typical bits.

It is the distinctive composition of copper, manganese, and zinc that makes SENSOGAN® so special. With a reduced copper content, the oxidation process is still maintained to encourage a supple mouth; however, the addition of manganese results in a smoother and more regulated oxidation process. Manganese is a crucial component and activator of enzymes, helping to build connective tissue as well as improve muscle and energy metabolism. Manganese can therefore help prevent muscle tension, support stress reduction, and prevent allergic skin reactions. SENSOGAN® has improved properties but also a new appearance. The white-gold color gives the bit a discreet and elegant look and does not tarnish easily, as the horse's chewing activity is optimally supported. It is easy to care for and maintains its elegant appearance over its lifetime.
The innovative design incorporates details such as a smooth ergonomically shaped mouthpiece that ensures balanced comfort for your mount while delivering precise rein aids and maximizing effective communication. The signature curved joints keep the mouthpiece in the correct central position to maintain soft and even pressure across the tongue as well as supporting the contact to the corners of the mouth, encouraging willing contact with the bit.
