Great for cleaning body brush while groomingThe Der Gute Stiff Curry is helpful in keeping the body brush free of dust and hair during grooming by swiping it against the brush every few strokes and then tapping the curry against something to release the dust. Less sensitive horses may be okay with it for mud/hair removal, but the Haas New Generation Soft Curry is better for most horses because it has slick, soft plastic that doesn't pull on hair or skin (like rubber curries do). I read some articles about Haas brushes and found out the difference between the 2 curry types. My sensitive-skinned mare is fine with the soft curry. I use the Der Gute for brush cleaning.
