Leaves a sticky filmAfter using this cleaner and wiping it off immediately, my saddle felt sticky. Even after trying to rinse it with water and wiping again, it is still sticky.

Comments: This is so quick and easy to use and even pleasant. It leaves your own hands with a light soapy feeling that easily rinses off under a tap. Good for regular quick use. I spray some on a sponge and run it over everything - saddle, bridle and my own boots. I find it cleans better than the Effax cleaner spray.

Comments: I purchased a bottle of this and was using it to scrub my quite dirty bridle: sweat, dirt, dust, the usual offenders. A friend noticed my new Leather New bottle and said “Hey! That stuff’s the Dawn dish detergent for leather.” I replied that I was trying it out and it was definitely getting the leather very clean. Been using it ever since. It is a strong cleanser, so for older, delicate leather, it was recommended to me to use Effax cleaner/conditioner. But I love this for my western saddles and ALL my bridles. It’s a great product at a great price and so easy to use.
