Product Details

Instructions for Use:

  • Clean and dry hoof.
  • Apply hoof packing or poultice to the sole of the hoof.
  • Apply wad of practical cotton.
  • Peel backing from the straight edge of HoofTape.
  • Stick straight edge of HoofTape to heel of the shoe.
  • Grasp the peeled backing and pull backing completely off until shoe is covered.
  • Press edges to the wall of the hoof.

Comments: These are fabulous for wrapping a foot with hoof sole packing. Extremely durable and great adhesive. Go slow when removing the backing. Ordering more to keep on hand - hope to not have to use duct tape ever again. Stayed on for several days inside a boot.

Comments: I wish someone had invented this product a long time ago! Like most Equifit products, I thought it was a bit pricey for tape. I realized it actually worked and stayed on my horse's hoof in humid/wet South Florida. It's not only much easier to apply than the typical pulled shoe solution of duct tape/vetwrap, but cheaper as well. I'll be buying more in the future!
