Great slow feeder for my horseMy horse is very rough on slow feeders. This one has been able to stand up to his daily abuse very nicely. It is durable and easy to fill as well.

Comments: Love love love the hay ball! We chose purple for our Mustang mare FAIRR and her colt KA'LIO (Devil's Garden Herd) to share. FAIRR had been on the range for 15 years and used to being on the move. She was getting bored with her pasture and stall and on the look-out constantly for the feed cart. Filling the ball with hay and treats keeps her happy, very busy and no longer concentrating on the feed cart! We have ordered another one for KA'LIO. Comments: Love it! The green is very vibrant and bright, the material is sturdy (I have no worries about this breaking if my Haflinger gelding decides to kick it around his corral after he's eaten all the hay in it) and I love the fact that it has a large capacity for hay. I stuffed 5 pounds of hay into it the second day I had it, and I probably could have gotten in at least 2 more pounds if I really wanted to. As someone who is really into slow-feeding my horse, particularly because he does have a limited amount of hay (can't do an all-you-can-eat buffet with him) this slow feed hay ball feeder is really awesome and useful to have in the slow-feeder arsenal. Using it with several other means of slow feeding, I'm able to make my horse's hay last longer, which is better for him and makes our outings more enjoyable because he's been able to eat for longer. Would give 5 stars.
