I need to update my previous review!I had one of these cross ties that I hadn't used yet and even still had the tag on it, and the webbing strap just tore where the adjustment slide is located on the webbing. The mare I tied didn't set back or anything, but she did start to back up and put some pressure on the cross ties before she moved back forward. The webbing on this tie just tore completely where it is doubled by the metal adjustment slide. I will return this one, but I don't think they are all the same quality. Snaps look brand new as it was only used this one time and are good quality, but if this 15 hh, 16 year old mare who has been in cross ties many times could just tear the webbing, I'll need to switch back to other brands.
Great cross tie!I needed some new cross ties and these were great. The snaps look to be quality, and it’s easy to adjust. Does the job well!

Comments: I was really disappointed when this arrived because it is only ONE tie. I cannot believe Riding Warehouse markets this as a cross tie, since there is no "crossing" if you only get one. I had to scroll down to the bottom of the description to see the "sold individually" after receiving it. So if you want to buy "cross" ties, you have to spend twice the price.
