Overview

Elastikon Elastic Tape is the perfect choice for bandaging those hard to reach or hard to bandage areas.  Made from a cotton elastic cloth tape with a rubber-based adhesive designed to help provide the elasticity needed for a dynamic pressure dressing.  This bandage is breathable and helps to keep bandages in place, making first aid and bandage application easier.

Comments: Perfect for leg injuries as it stays in place and does not slip.  Does best if the sticky is warmed up first (place in the sun or on the dashboard of your car to warm it up).  Does leave a sticky residue on the horse which comes off fairly quickly.  I tend to wrap some other kind of "self-adhesive" wrap (Like vetwrap) over injury first, then wrap Elastikon over to help keep in place.  It is easier to remove from the horse that way.
