This unique formula combines Vaseline, laurel oil, and thymol (thyme extract) in an all-purpose, easy to use, disinfecting hoof ointment. This ointment forms a water repellent and dirt repellent film which helps support proper moisture balance in both wet and dry conditions. Use daily for improved hooves! This thicker ointment can be applied from coronet band down.

Comments: I'm not in favor of putting anything on a horses feet ever. However, since my horse needs to go out very early in the morning when the grass is still wet to avoid the bugs I needed something to protect his feet from the constant wet/dry cycle. I rub it on every morning (no brush I just use my fingers) and the water beads up on it outside. It's not a perfect solution but it seems to be helping. Bonus is that it makes his feet look pretty.
