Designed for near-constant 23/7 use to protect hooves during a variety of turnout conditions. A horse is more likely to damage or pull off a hoof boot by playing, chewing, rolling, etc., when turned out at liberty. Regularly take turnout hoof boots off for evaluation and maintenance, and allow them to air out in between uses to help prevent bacteria buildup.

Starting from the inside, this boot utilizes the updated Comfort Cup Gaiter with softer and thicker materials for optimal support and protection that will keep your horse comfortable during a strenuous ride. The durable upper will protect and stabilize the boot while maintaining a lightweight feel, and the frontal shield has been refined for a sleek fit. The new removable rear snug strap can now be reversed for left or right hooves, making these boots extremely practical. A semi-aggressive tread and flexible build make this boot extremely versatile. Since the Easyboot Back Country is built on the Easyboot Glove Chassis, it is easily convertible and replaceable!

Comments: I purchased two EasyCare Easyboot Back Country Hoof Boots for my mare who has an old injury that makes one front hoof sensitive to the pavement, uneven, or hard ground. Previously, on other horses, I have used one of the older style Easyboots and the new ones are by far easier to put on and remove. No more wires on the boots! My horse readily accepted using these hoof boots and has been more comfortable when riding or even hand walking. They stay on, absorb shock, and have amazing traction even on hilly rides.

Comments: I like the fact these boots come in half sizes, however, I don't like the fact that they are made with screws. The boot flipped around on my horse's hoof and the back screw rip through the rubber on the sole piece of the boot.
