Designed for near-constant 23/7 use to protect hooves during a variety of turnout conditions. A horse is more likely to damage or pull off a hoof boot by playing, chewing, rolling, etc., when turned out at liberty. Regularly take turnout hoof boots off for evaluation and maintenance, and allow them to air out in between uses to help prevent bacteria buildup.

This boot is made from a durable rubber material and offers soothing comfort from the hoof to 5"-6" above the knee on most horses. It can even be folded down if less height is needed. The Remedy is also perfect for Epsom salt soaks when treating an abscess or for using other solutions to treat thrush, white line, seedy toe, or hoof rot. The Easyboot Ultimate Remedy is designed to hold liquid while a horse is standing still. It should fit loosely. The boot should be easy to slip on and off, and there should be extra space around the hoof to allow cold water and ice to contact all sides of the hoof and lower leg.
Other EasyCare hoof boots are designed to fit snugly to prevent twisting and turning while the horse is moving. Please remember the Easyboot Ultimate Remedy is to be used only while the horse is standing still, so measuring and sizing for this boot will be different than it is for any other EasyCare product.
