Learning curveLike another reviewer, I learned the hard way that this needs to be kept cool and that once you have spillage, it will be hard to securely attach any subsequent tips. Granted it was my first time gluing, but I didn't pause at all and the first tip still clogged within 30 seconds. It leaked all over the glue nozzle, which I think contributed to subsequent tips not attaching properly either. It was only 85 degrees out and the glue had been in the air-conditioned house before I started. So definitely keep it cool and buy extra tips. The ones sold here did fit this glue, which was far from clear when I ordered them, especially since they have little tabs that the tips that come with this glue don't have. I kinda wish I'd started with those tips because they might be more secure. This glue-on stuff is confusing, but hopefully will get easier with practice! It would be nice if the glue came with some basic written instructions.
Great glueGreat glue, very little smell, and works great when the hoof is prepared correctly. Will continue to buy.
Shoe GlueIf used according to the directions, this glue holds the shoe on great. Lasted 7 weeks through mud and 0 temperatures. Far better than driving holes in the hoof wall.
Good priceFor the price, this adhesive worked great. A few things I would definitely recommend is keeping it in an ice chest before you use it. If it is hot out, or if sets too fast, or if you don't put the tips on correctly (there is a long tab and a shorter one) it will run out the bottom and ruin the gun. The last thing I would say is if you don't use it all and need to store it, make sure you save and replace the stopper or it will just run out of the tube.
