Comments: I usually ride with boots but I like to have half chaps on hand as well. I have a pair of very old Ariats which are a bit stiff, a tad narrow, and didn't fit over my winter paddock boots. However, when I started looking for new half chaps, I discovered that many brands were too tall from my short and slender calves. The Dublin Evolution half chaps seemed to have the correct measurements (XS) I needed. I have been wearing them more than I had expected because they are so convenient and comfortable. They are a bit wide just under the knee when I'm standing but it isn't a problem when I ride. It also makes it easier to get the zipper started. I barely notice them even in the warmer temperatures we have had lately. I also knew that with the Return Policy from Riding Warehouse, it would be easy to return them if they did not fit.
