Overview

An innovative design appropriate for any level rider and horse, the Coronet Stainless Steel Ladies' Smooth Rowel Spurs are an effective and practical addition to your training toolbox. Constructed from stainless steel, rust is a worry of the past. These spurs feature a short 15mm neck with a smooth, round-edged stainless steel rowel, allowing the spur to roll as it contacts your horse's side.  This design reduces the chance of spur marks and provides a slightly milder touch, appropriate for sensitive horses.

Designed to fit snugly on the heel of your boot and rest slightly on the heel or spur lip, these women's spurs are lightweight and feature flat branches and a standard strap loop on either end of each branch to accommodate leather or synthetic spur straps.

Key Features

  • Stainless Steel Design to Prevent Rust
  • 15mm Neck with a Rounded-Edged Rowel for a Softer Touch
  • May Help Prevent Spur Rubs

Sizing

When considering the use of spurs, thoroughly examine your leg position in order to select the shank size required for appropriate contact. A general guide is to determine how close your heel falls next to your horse's barrel; the closer your heel to your horse, the shorter the shank with lesser degree of curve is needed. If you have long legs and your heel hangs farther from your horse's side, a longer women's with a higher degree of curve may be necessary for appropriate contact on your horse's barrel.
