Key Features
-
Wide FootbedWide Footbed
Stirrups with a wide footbed provide a larger surface area for the rider's foot, helping distribute pressure for improved stability, control, and comfort. This design is popular among riders across various disciplines, from endurance to show jumping.
-
Extra GripExtra Grip
Stirrups with extra grip or aggressive tread provide added traction to help keep the rider's foot securely in place. This feature is especially useful for riders traveling at speed or jumping, where a steady leg position is essential.
-
Quick Release SystemQuick Release System
Quick-release stirrups are designed to open under pressure so a rider's foot can disengage during a fall. Some feature a hinged arm that releases, while others use an open design that allows the foot to slip free more easily.
-
Offset/Angeled EyeletOffset/Angeled Eyelet
Stirrups with offset or angled eyelets help riders achieve proper position in the irons. Ideally, a rider's foot sits at about a 45-degree angle, with the outside branch slightly forward and the inside branch slightly back. The angled eyelet encourages the foot to turn inward, allowing the rider to apply leg aids more effectively.

-
Light Weight
Lightweight stirrups (under 1 lb) are favored by riders who prefer lighter tack for performance, such as endurance riders during competition. A drawback of this weight is that a lost stirrup can be harder to retrieve due to its lighter build.
-
Medium Weight
Midweight stirrups (1-1.5 lbs) offer a balanced feel that many riders prefer for everyday riding and competing. They provide enough weight for easy stirrup retrieval while still keeping tack relatively light.
-
Heavy Weight
Heavyweight stirrups (over 1.5 lbs) are preferred by riders who want maximum stability and easy stirrup retrieval. The added weight helps the stirrups hang in place, making them favored by dressage riders.
The lightweight but incredibly durable hi-tech polymer composite stirrup material is unaffected by moisture and temperature, making these irons an ideal addition to any riders' tack collection. With a bright, colorful sole, these stirrups are sure to stand out as you flat work, jump, or ride the trails!

Comments: The best stirrups ever hands down!!!! For my whole life riding horses I thought pain in my ankles, knees and hips and the ball of my foot tingling was a normal side effect of riding. I decided to try these on a whim and discovered that pain was completely from the concussion coming from using the typical old fashioned irons. Once I started using these the pain was totally gone. Changed my life. I have used these religiously for every ride including weekly fox hunting wherein I find myself riding for three or four hours of mostly galloping and staying in two point. No pain, no issues of losing my stirrups to slippage, no tingling balls of feet. I just bought a new pair after four years of constant use as the old had just started losing their footbed grip. They lasted through a lot of use! You won't regret buying these.

Comments: My 15 years old cheese grater irons died so I got these. They are pretty comfortable and secure but not as secure as cheese graters.

Comments: I totally love these. I was always one that felt like I lost my stirrups more than one should. Additionally, I am an older rider with knee and ankle issues. I've tried other options to accommodate for both of these issues (Sprenger System 4, Super Comfort Iron pads), both of which worked somewhat, but these stirrups are better than either of those were for me, and address both issues simultaneously. And you can't beat the price! The added bonus is that the lightweight = easier to carry/lift my saddle.

Comments: LOVE these stirrups! I am converting all my english-style saddles over to being fitted with these stirrups. I've been using them from everything from dressage shows, to 50 mile endurance rides. SO comfortable (my feet never hurt or get numb with these), I never lose my stirrups, and they never cause upset by banging into the horses' sides, like heavy metal stirrups can. ... So glad Riding Warehouse is carrying them!
