Decent Scratches SolutionI heard this was miracle paste and with the most stubborn case of scratches on my horse's hind pasterns that nothing was handling fully, I was very hopeful. The thing I like is that it dries out the area once the clay itself dries which is crucial to getting scratches to go away. I wouldn't say it's been miraculous as I'm almost through the large bottle and have not fully killed off the scratches but it is much better. I also like that the clay can be left on because washing the area every day, which has to be done for other more oily products, just lends to the bacteria growth. I'd say try it because it works better than anything else I've used and is much less fussy.

Impressive ProductMust-have for wet barn areas. I have seen this combat rain rot in a barn on a muddy, flooded plain. Worth every penny and won't burn or scald their skin.

Comments: Really impressed with this stuff. I've used it to dry out scabs from scratches/mud fever on legs during our mud seasons and it cleared up the infection very quickly. On a whim, I tried it on some rain rot on my mustang's back and was super happy with how quickly the infection dried out. It's kind of a pain in the butt to apply, but I also don't mind if it gets on my hands since none of the ingredients concern me (unlike a lot of other topicals for horses). Doesn't seem to sting or irritate, also. If you've had a sensitive-skinned horse get a skin infection, you know how trying it can be to get a topical applied. I'll probably always keep a jar of this on hand.

Comments: I got this to try on my horse's feet after they exploded with scratches from all the mud and snow we received this year. She had huge bumps and swelling. I put one application on and within 24 hours the swelling and bumps were almost completely gone, even with us receiving more rain that day. So nice to see a product actually work like they claim it does! I only bought the small container and was able to treat all 4 feet with it twice. I really covered them with the paste and I only used half the container. Worth every penny!!

Comments: Absolutely incredible, both the paste and powder. Stop mixing up potions that people pass around on FB and actually get rid of rain rot. Stop summer sores. Those things are disgusting, they fester and get larger and more disfiguring, cost a fortune in vet bills, and are very painful. Get this stuff and use it on everything. Totally natural so it doesn't poison your horses, dogs, or cats. If they lick it, it is fine.

Comments: This stuff is AMAZING and you can literally use it on EVERYTHING! Hock Sores? Check. Scratches? Check. Cuts/Scrapes? Check. Fungus Spots? Check. Boot Rubs? Check. Whether I'm using the paste on a small open wound or the preventative powder under boots and wraps, CoatDefense is the most ergonomically and cost-effective product on the market!
